Review : Better as Post Shave
I don’t know what to think of this stuff. Scent if very strong fresh cut flowers at first which dies away in 15 minutes or so. Doesn’t rub in easily, you kind of paste it on and let it soak in. Only confusing thing is it has a distinct cooling sensation. This is great for post shave, but closing pores before shaving isn’t a good idea. Rubbing my hand over my beard after application it actually feels more sensitive rather than less. I’ve tried it with both soap and cream and can’t say that it effects the shave/ lather one way or another, but that cooling sensation sticks around which I’m not a fan of during a shave. FYI I am bearded so I only shave my neck and it is obnoxiously sensitive and I do the hot towel on my neck for a few minutes before lathering up.

On the contrary, I do like this stuff as a general moisturizer and post shave. This time the cooling is welcome and it does seem to moisturize nicely and without irritation. The glass jar is classy and I like the fresh…
